This book is a well-written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. A warm, sweet with a little heat, romantic story of a young woman who needs a hero to protect her from herself and those who take advantage of her, and the hero who also needs a heroine to ground him.
Betty Hayes wants to be anywhere…except home for Christmas. Betty is a pushover, something she hates about herself. She can’t stand up for herself when her sister-in-law asks her to stay in town, cancel her holiday plans, and run her tiny bookstore over the Christmas holidays.
