Stitching this small star quilt is simple thanks to speed piecing methods. Even though all the blocks are stitched together in horizontal rows, the light fabric that surrounds the star blocks melds with the angel fabric used in the center of the snowball quilt blocks to give the snowballs an on-point appearance. Any holiday-themed novelty fabric can be shown on the snowballs.
