This is a well-written and inspiring story of an 11-year-old boy going through a tough time at Christmas. It's relatable and imaginative. An understanding of children and their unique challenges – and their wishes and what can become of them. Heartfelt and redemptive.
Eleven-year-old Nathan Mackenzie thinks that all is as wonderful as can be as he celebrates Christmas Eve with Mother and Father. What could possibly go wrong? Then, suddenly, his beloved Grandfather has a serious accident and everything is thrown into turmoil! While his parents rush off to help, Nathan is left at home to fend for himself. As sadness and fear threaten to take over, Nathan recalls his Mother telling him the old family legend that speaks of a magical Christmas Angel that can come to the aid of those who are in great need on Christmas Eve. Will he ask the Angel for help or is it just an old wives' tale that should be ignored?…
